Dreamweaver MX 6.1 Update is here!

The update patch for Dreamweaver MX is here and addresses several template related issues. Here are some relevant links:

Addressed Issues relating to Templates (Copied from the Bug Fixes page):

Note: The number in brackets (#####) denotes a bugbase reference number for Macromedia. No further public information is available about it.

(78200) Updating pages via a template wipes out the body's onload event handler.
(77949) Relative-positioned Div/Span tags in a template cause Dreamweaver to think a change has been made in locked region when it hasn't.
(78297) Changes to a locked region are discarded.
After making an edit in a locked region from code view, saving the document brings up a dialog that allows the user to save the document, but the changes are discarded.
(77317) Dreamweaver fails to check out files before updating locked template pages.
Changes made in the template are reflected in the page, but Dreamweaver is not able to get a remote copy before performing the update.
(64228) Making a template region around an image (with swap image or nav bar behavior) removes the behavior.
(78573) Unable to add repeat regions to an editable region of a template instance.
(77538) Changes can be made to locked code before or after the <html> tag in a template-based document.
(77312) Unable to insert dynamic content in an editable region if a locked region contains a form element.
(72773) Dreamweaver sometimes doesn't reapply behaviors after reapplying a template.
(72555) Changing the document type of a template-based page doesn't change the filename extension.

As you can see, there have been many improvements relating to Templates in the DMX 6.1 Updater.

Be advised that there are still existing issues with Dreamweaver MX, but we feel that this release is the best ever of Dreamweaver and we hope that you enjoy it as much as we do, quirks and all!
